Fire Fly Hotel: Handmade Museum Special Report
Exploration of Hometown Waterside: Let's Play with Fish (Shiwahori, Hiroshima)

We went to fishing after learnig some notices at the Fire Fly Hotel. Children swinged a net to catch a fish but never made it. Then, shown how to turn in fishes, they learned skills. But adults helped to catch a catfish. We also took many snake sloughs and displayed them.
[What Livings Were There?]

We started to learn fishes and livings we caught when turning back to the Hotel. We met various livings for an hour fish hunting. Name plates were made out of cardboard, shaping fish figure.
[Surprized with Various Livings]

Catfish, Bagridae, Killifish, Turtle, Frog, Tadpole, Crab, Shrimp, Dragonfly, Loach, Crowfish... Many friends came! Furthermore, local elementary students brought weatherfish and American crayfish.
[Feeding]

Children were very satisfied with fishes they had caught in a aquarium. They enjoyed watching catfish eating warms very quickly and YOSHINOBORI(Rhinogobius sp.) swimming with its interesting figure.
[Observation of Fire Fly at Night]

After eating dinner, we went out to watch fire fly. We got very excited finding fire fly in the flower "Hotaru Bukuro" which was a gift.
